Our flow-focusing droplet generation chip employs the theory of cross-flow focusing. It utilizes a continuous phase to squeeze the dispersed phase, which is introduced from both sides, toward the center. This results in the destabilization of the interface and the formation of stable droplets.
This chip is suitable for uniform, continuous, and rapid droplet generation. It can also be used for single-cell encapsulation when cell suspensions are used as the dispersed phase. It is important to note that while we provide expected droplet sizes, the actual size achieved depends on the specific configuration used in your experiments.
