BE-Transflow uses a layer of porous membrane with a pore size of 1 µm to separate the culture well and the microfluidic channel to form two relatively independent structures. This design can be used for the construction of ALI interface and for organ chips such as lung, skin, intestine, cornea, etc. BE-Transflow can also form a perfect endothelial-epithelial barrier by adding medium to the culture well. We can adjust the channel width and height according to your needs, thereby controlling shear, flux and pressure in the channel. BE-Transflow can also be obtained using a biocompatible adhesive instead of a plastic base, allowing you to use functionalized or micropatterned surfaces, or even integrate with sensors. And the pore size of porous membrane can also be adjusted (0.4, 1, 3, 5, 8 µm) to suit your needs.
